Dyson - This is one of our favorites and the one used in our office. Hearing James Dyson saying, "I just think things should work properly." makes our knees weak. Really, who hasn't cursed at an appliance for simply not doing it's job well? The dyson is a slightly quirky vacuum but we have found the claims to be true - it doesn't lose suction. For those with dust allergies it has a great design that keeps you further from the dust when it's time to empty, and you shouldn't have to replace HEPA filters ever. A bonus, it also does very well on hardwood or tile floors if you have a mixture of flooring in your home.
